An officer in the Nigeria Police Force, DSP Wale Ajibuwa has turned the life of two young street dancers to the right path of development with offer of educational scholarship to a high level.
The officer who is said to be serving in the Office of the Inspector General of Police as a Protocol Officer was said to have seen the three young children dancing on a street in Garki area of the Federal Capital Territory and on inquiry was discovered that they took to the act to find a means of living without proper education.
Moved by the story, DSP Ajibuwa was said to have taken the duo to a shopping mall in the area where he bought for them a lot of goodies which included foodstuffs, house needs with a promise to take care of their educational needs to higher level.
Some onlookers, who commended the officer for his kindness, said it was unbelievable that such personnel still exist in the Nigeria Police Force which is seen as the centre place for corrupt activities.
The children, who were elated for the possible changes the action of DSP Ajibuwa will bring to them, were thankful to God and prayed for him to remain a shine example for others to emulate.
The officer who has served in different states in the federation is known for his good deed before his recent posting to the Force Headquarters as the Chief Protocol Officer in the Office of the Inspector General of Police.
A Nigerian, who commented on the action of the Police Officer in the social media, noted that the heart of Ajibuwa was made of gold as only few Nigerians are ready to sacrifice for the growth of the less privilege.
He said he will continue to seek God’s protection for him to enable him fulfilled his promise for the good of the children.
