Breaking: Adamawa records 1st case of Covid-19

There are indications that Adamawa state may have recorded its first covid-19 case.

This is as a Kano resident who returned to the state last week and submitted himself for test returned positive on Wednesday

He has earlier been on self isolation after he returned from Kano last week.

The patient whose identity cannot be reveal for ethical reasons said, “I got a call from the covid-19 containment committee this morning, informing me that my result showed I’m positive for the virus”, he said.

The state covid-19 containment committee, has yet to officially confirm the case.

When contacted, Chairman of the committee, who is also the Secretary to the State Government, Bashiru Ahmad, simply replied, “I will call you back”.
