Covid-19: Firs Receives Ppes From The China General Chamber Of Commerce In Nigeria

The Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Muhammad M. Nami received Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) from the China General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria and Huawei Technologies in partnership with Hubei Z all Foundation of China at FIRS headquarters, Abuja.
The Executive Chairman Muhammad M. Nami express his gratitude toward China General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria and others for their generous support in fighting COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The Executive Chairman assured them that they will be used to ensure the protection of staff. He stated that he is pleased with the efforts of many of Chinese companies in Nigeria and is encouraging them to continue to invest in Nigeria.
The PPEs which include 20,000 Disposable Surgical Masks, 500 Disposable Medical Protective Suite.
In his remarks during the presentation, on behalf of China Chamber of Commerce Deputy Managing Director of Huawei Technologies Company Nigeria Limited, Kelvin Yang stated that “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress and working together is success, it’s therefore a privilege to collaborate with the Federal Inland Revenue Service to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic”.
“The China Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria houses all major Chinese enterprises in Nigeria and ensures the bilateral relationship between Nigeria and China is strengthened and promoted. We are committed to continue to support the Federal government of Nigeria in the fight against pandemic till we achieve success together,” Yang said.
