Plans are in the pipelines for the establishment and replication of pondok model system of education in Sokoto State.
Executive chairman Sozecom Muhammad Lawal Maidoki Sadaukin Sakkwato dropped this hint while making remarks at the end of this week’s report presentation on World Zakat Forum, Indonesia Shariah Economic Festival-ISEF and Study Tour by Sozecom delegates held at the office Muslim World League.
Malam Muhammad Lawal Maidoki noted that MOU has been signed and already bilateral talks have reached an advanced levels between relevant stakeholders partcularly SSG and Ummu Waheedah for replication of the Almajiri System of Education.
By way of background, Pondok system of Almajiri System of Education blends knowledge and skills acquisition.Philosophy behind it, being at the end of the completion of the school, Almajiri would be able to achieve self-reliance.
