Gov.Ishaku to boost Rice and Yam production in Wukari.

The Taraba state Governor, Darius Dickson Ishaku has reiterates hIs commitment towards putting mechanism in place to enable rice and Yam farmers in Wukari Local Government Area to start exporting their produce.

The Governor made the disclosure during the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN. Wukari Interdenominational Christian Service at the Christian Reformed Church Nigeria Gu Puje, Wukari.

Ishaku said, Taraba State is blessed with fertile land which if properly harness with the ready market will improve the lots of farmers and the people .

The Governor applauded the people of Wukari for eschewing all forms of bitterness that has made them to reap dividends of democracy urging them to maintain the spirit.

He declared to contest next year’s gubernatorial poll and solicited support from people of the state to only vote PDP candidates in next year’s election in view of the reckless and senseless killings that occur during the present leadership of the All Progressive Congress APC.

Earlier, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria Innocent Solomon thanked Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku for for his continous support in sponsoring Christians Pilgrims to the holy land and assured him of CAN prayers and support to enable him win next year gubernatorial poll.

Delivering his message Christened Jesus our Peace, Reverend Bulus Gani said any tribe and family that allow God to oversee affairs of their lives would have peace because Jesus is the Prince of peace.

In his remarks,President of the CRCN.Caleb Ahima urged Tarabans to support Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku in his quest to lead the state for the second time because of his numerous achievements mostly on the area of peace.

Wife of the Governor Anna Darius Dickson Ishaku and Head of Service Simon Istifanus Angyu read the first and second scriptural readings during the service which featured special prayers, songs rendition and presentation of motorcycles and cash to some inhabitants of the area who survived accident during his previous campaigns.

Our Correspondent Reports that Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku after the Service visited the Aku Uka with his entourage and were treated with a scintillating match pass from the Nigerian Boys Brigade.
