Kano Residents Celebrated A Low Key Sallah,Complied With Government’s Restriction Order.

Kano residents has celebrated this year’s Sallah in a low key mode after the state government restricted some of the activities that gather people in numbers which is against the rules and regulations to the spread of Covid-19 into the public.

Daybreak news reporter in kano visited some major towns and rural communities where the restriction of movement order has yielded excellent presults because people complied with the ban of all activities that gather people in an efforts to control the spread of the killer disease as seen.

At Bichi emirate, our reporter gathered that after the eid prayer, all other relevant activities that gather people were closed to ensure that the order given by the kano state government is respected especially when the issue of Covid-19 is becoming a great threat to the global progress in health care.

Similarly, at a remote village called Waddau in Dawakin Tofa local government area people were seen only under the trees eating and observing social distancing in compliance with the ban of all activities and other gatherings that gathered people, while little boys remain at home under the watch of their parents and guardians.

Speaking to Daybreak news, a traditional ruler malam Muhammad Aminu said that ” we 3nlighten our people to abide by the order given by kano state government banning all activities related to Sallah after eid prayer, that is why you can see people observing social distancing in order to ensure the control of the killer disease spread into the public”.
