Pensioners in the country under the auspiced of Nigerian Union of Pensioners have commended Predident Buhari for regular payment of pension and for offsetting pension arrears dating back several years.

The commendation came when Officials of the Union paid a courtesy visit to Buhari in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The union thanked Buhari for the feat his administration has recorded in bettering the lives of pensioners in the country. These it said included:
Regular Payment of Monthly Pension. Which it observed has been regular since the advent of his government.

“Mr. President, we have never had it so good. We therefore pray and earnestly appeal to Your Excellency to ensure that pension is officially put on the first line charge to avoid delay in the payment of pension and gratuity”.
