But in their separate reactions the Kano state council of Juma’at mosque Imams under the leadership of Sheikh Muhammad Nasir Adam canvassed their supports to the Kano Shari’a court judgement where they called on the Kano state governor Abdullahi Ganduje to sign the singer’s death warrant with immediate effect.

Similarly, the commander of the kano state shari’ah police board known as Hisbah Sheikh Haroun Ibn Sina supported the judgement because according to the board, Yahaya Aminu has really committed an offence that his punishment is death sentence as in accordance to the Islamic law.
