Prosecute The Sallers Of Unregistered Sim Cards And Sanctions Network Providers Found For Non Compliance- Ex Service man.

An ex Soldier who retired in 1987, Adamu Lawal said that most of the criminal activities that were carried in Nigeria were through the u registered sims that are being sold at many open markets without proper registration from the services providers.

He stated this in an interview with our correspondent in kano, adding that ” in many occasions, you can find a many offenders in possession of many unregistered sim cards where they usually uses them in committing their crimes especially at present when the issue of security remained the Nigeria’s subject of discussions”. He stated.

The ex service man therefore called on the security agencies to commence full checks ups in our open market especially at rural areas in order to dish out the unregistered sims selling outfits so as to reduce the possession of such sims in the society, and sanction any network providers that violate the order given by the federal government on the registration of Sim cards in Nigeria.

He commended the minister of communication Dr. Pantami, the executive vice chairman NCC professor Dambatta and all the stakeholders that joined hands in the war against unregistered Sim cards which are being used in committing crimes that are relates to phone calls.
