Covid-19 Effects: NRI Adviced Northern Governors To Establish Economic Transformation Strategies.

The Northern States governors has been called upon to establish strategies and plans that would restore the economic progress that has been destroyed as a result of the Corona Virus pandemic which also retarded everything in their respective states that is relatively affects the socio-economic wellbeing of the region.

The call was made by the northern reformation initiative national president, Alhaji Abubakar Adamu in an interview with our correspondent in kano, adding that covid-19 has gradually ruined every aspects of economic impacts in the world, therefore bridging the gab should be taken into serious consideration especially in developing countries including Nigeria.

He disclosed that “northern reformation initiative is always fighting to see that Nigeria as a nation is rapidly advancing in every sector especially nowadays when the globe is witnessing different types of economic destruction like what we are now seeing during this era of Corona Virus, therefore we are calling on the northern states governors to bring out strategies that would bring back the regional economic progress immediately after the Covid-19”. He lamented.

Alhaji Abubakar Adamu also commended the northern states governors for keeping the region more progressive under the present democratic dispensation, and urged them to restore the services of all the companies that were established by late Sir Ahmadu Bello the late premier of the northern region that are now left in comma like the New Nigerian Newspapers which seems to be one of the greatest legacies of the late premier.

In conclusion, the NRI national president assured that the present sets of the northern states governors would certainly join hands in the restoration of the region so as to enable the younger generations to benefits from their respective legacies in a democratically elected governance that we are enjoying at present.
