Fight Against Rape: Garkuwan Zamfara Charges Religious, Traditional leaders

 The Zamfara state concern Citizen and (Garkuwan mashaya Shayin Zamfara) Alhaji Ado Haruna Rugga Na Ali, called on religious and traditional leaders in Northern Nigeria to intensity efforts towards fight against rape with a view to eradicating it within the society.
The concern Citizen made this known to Newsmen in Gusau the state capital on Tuesday morning.
Garkuwa who lamented the increasing number of rape cases within the society, added that, it became necessary for leaders to take measures against rape in the society with a view to eradicating it within the society.
Alhaji Ado also appealed to the federal government to continue its fight against drugs abuse in the society.     He added that, most of the cases of rape in the society were as a result of drug abuse among youth.
He called on the federal government to take measures towards eradicating drugs abuse in the society.
Garkuwa also advised parents and guardians to improve the training and retraining of their children for them to be good members of the soft, he said the state government under the leadership of Governor Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) will continue its fight against rape to ensure full eradication. Also noted that, these acts are unlawful to All religions that were practiced in the North, Islam and Christianity.
