BREAKING: ON THE EVE OF GENERAL ELECTIONS, BANDITS SNEAKED INTO GUSAU MOTOR PARK

A few hours ahead of general elections commencing tomorrow, a syndicate of two suspected armed bandits have sneaked into Gusau central motor park carrying a large sack stocked with AK rifles.

According witnesses, the two suspects entered the park asking for a commercial vehicle to chatter for a trip.

“as their appearance and attitude looks questionable, people become wary of them and put them under close watch” narrates one of the eyewitness.

The witness, Bashir Inuwa told this medium that it did not take long as it became clear that the duo were bandits trying to transport arms to a target destination.

“as the park officials refuse to entertain thier request, they attempted to leave the park just as an unknown person drove in trying to escape out with the suspects”, he said, but luck however ran against them as they attempted to escape, they collided with youth mob at the main entrance of the motor park.

One of the bandits was allegedly killed while the Golf vehicle set ablaze before the arrival of the police who succeded in arresting the other suspect while the driver was said to have escaped.

The police public relations officer SP Shehu Muhammad declined to speak on the incidence despite sevneral phone calls by our reporter.
