Member elect dies while celebrating victory

Member representing Pengana State Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon Ezekiel Afon has died less than twenty four hours after winning his reelection bid on sunday afternoon.

Our correspondent gathered that Ezekial Afon slumped and died immediately before been rushed to the hospital on Sunday afternoon .

A family source who did want his name on print because he is not authorize to do so said Afon died while celebrating with family,friends and supporters at home over his victory at the poll.

According to the family source, ” he was hale and hearty this afternoon and was full of life while rejoicing over him winning the election ,”

Ezekial Banda Afon until his death was the Chief Whip in the State House of assembly and is Survived by his wife and four Children
