Council Chairman, Security Agents Intercepts Fulani Invasion In Kogi

The Chairman of Yagba West Local council, Hon Pius Kolawole in conjunction with security agents and the Divisional Police Officer of Odo-Ere on Saturday intercepted a truck loaded with over 100 Fulani moving to the area Illegally.

Hon. Kolawole who vowed not to toy with the security issue in his local council said all necessary measures have been put in place to prevent invasion of Fulani in Yagba West.

It was gathered that the council chairman intercept and escorted a trailer loaded with Fulani out of the Local Government with the support of Security Agents and handed over to the DPO of Eruku for onward  escorts out of their community .

“Yagba West under my leadership is determined to ensure that Security of life and property is actualize to the fullest and I will never compromise the security of my people.” Kolawole added.
