Saraki, Dogara respond as PDP’s Fintiri massacres Gov Bindow

Senate President, Bukola Saraki has responded to the result of the Adamawa State gubernatorial race.

Sunrise reports that Ahmadu Fintiri of PDP rose victor of the Adamawa Governorship decision.

The Returning Officer of the decision, Prof. Andrew Haruna, who pronounced the outcome, Thursday, in Yola after the beneficial decision in 44 units crosswise over 14 neighborhood government territories of the state, said Fintiri surveyed 376,552 votes to beat his nearest rival, Gov. Muhammadu Bindow of APC, who scored 336,386 votes.

He said that Sen. Abdul-Azeez Nyako of the ADC scored 113,237 votes to put third, trailed by Chief Emmanuel Bello of the SDP, who collected 29,792 votes.

Responding, Saraki on Twitter expressed, “Congrats to Governor-Elect, Ahmadu Fintiri, on your triumph in #AdamawaDecides. As you plan to serve the incredible individuals of Adamawa State, I wish you effortlessness, insight and most extreme accomplishment on all fronts.”

Also, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu, Dogara, on Twitter expressed, “Congrats to Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on your race as legislative leader of Adamawa state.

“The general population have spoken and it is my expectation and petition that you will satisfy their desires for good administration.”
