Epie-Atissa Kingdom Backs Clifford for APC Ticket

Stakeholders of the Epie-Atissa Kingdom have thrown their weight behind Hon. (Chief) Koffi Osomewo Clifford as their preferred candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Yenagoa Constituency 1 seat.

The endorsement was made at a well-attended meeting held at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Onopa, Yenagoa.

The meeting was attended by party leaders, political stakeholders, opinion leaders, elders, community influencers, CDC members, youth presidents, and other sons and daughters of the Epie-Atissa Kingdom.

Speaking at the event, Hon. (Chief) Koffi Osomewo Clifford said his decision to contest was driven by a genuine passion for service and a desire to change the current narrative surrounding the constituency’s representation.

He pledged to deliver purposeful, people-centred legislation focused on visible development, empowerment, and progress across all wards and communities.

The Assembly hopeful outlined his vision of transparent and accessible leadership that prioritises youth inclusion, women’s participation, and quality service delivery.

Prominent stakeholders at the meeting described Clifford as a tested grassroots mobiliser and a dependable son of the soil with the capacity to provide effective representation.

They offered prayers and encouragement, urging him to remain focused on the path to victory.

In a unified voice, the stakeholders called on all APC members, sons and daughters of Epie-Atissa, youths, women groups, and residents of Yenagoa Constituency 1 to rally behind Hon. (Chief) Koffi Osomewo Clifford and support his bid for the party ticket.

Political observers described the endorsement as a significant shift in the constituency’s political landscape, highlighting Clifford’s growing acceptability and strong grassroots appeal.
