The emirs of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Emir of Bichi Nasir Ado Bayero , the emir of Gaya Ibrahim Abdulkadir, emir of Karaye Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar and that of Rano Alhaji Kabiru Inuwa has called on their people to pray for peace in their emirates, Kano state and Nigeria at large.
They made the call in their sallah messages shortly after the eid prayers in their respective emirates, where the traditional rulers charges their people to intensify more prayers for the restoration of peace and progress in Kano state and Nigeria as usual especially at present when there are some challenges in the area of security, Covid-19 pandemic and other similar issues.
Similarly, the monarchs advised their people to comply with the Kano state government’s directive about the ban of traditional durbars which is an ancient culture whenever there is festivities especially in Hausa lands where different types of celebrations is done to entertain the general public.
In conclusion, the emirs commended governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his untiring efforts towards the development of Kano state without bias,and re-assures that the fight against Covid-19 would yield success especially on how governor Ganduje become serious on the precautions measures.
In another development, the founder of Tamallan Foundation Kano, Dr. Saleh Musa Wailare has commended governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his determination and zeal towards the progress of the state at both rural and urban settlements, where he called on the good people of Kano state to adhere with all the rules and regulations governing the self protection against the Covid-19 pandemic.
