Sokoto APC Conducts Ward Congresses Saturday, Promises Justice, Fairness

Sokoto State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says its ready for the forthcoming Ward Congress scheduled for Saturday, 31st July, 2021, just as the National Headquarters of the Party has reeled out the timetable for the exercise, as submitted to newsmen by the Senior Special Adviser On Media and Publicity to Senator Wamakko, Bashir Rabe Mani.

The acting State Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Isa Sadiq Achida, who disclosed at the stakeholders ‘ meeting of the Party in Sokoto, on Thursday.

Achida intimated the participants of the meeting about the elaborate arrangements made by the National Headquarters of the APC to ensure the success of the exercise.

The Chairman further stated that , the state chapter of the Party has concluded all the necessary arrangements to ensure the conduct of hitchfree Congresses .

He enumerated the mode of the congresses , as well as disclose the positions eligible for elections, to represent the Party from wards, local governments, state and national levels .

The meeting was attended by the Leader of the Party in the State, as well as the former Governor of the state , Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Police Affairs Minister , Alhaji Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Executive Secretary, Police Trust Fund, Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto and the Senator representing Sokoto East Senatorial District, Senator Ibrahim Abdullahi Gobir.

Others were the APC House of Representatives and State House of Assembly, led by APC Leader , Hon. Bello Isa Ambarura, members of the Elders Committee of the Party led by its Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Tafida, caretaker officials from the State and Local Governments levels.

The meeting was also attended by former State Legislators, former members of the State Executive Council, former local governments Chairmen and multitude of party supporters, among others.
