As Osun State clocks 30 years of it’s creation on Friday, the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN) in the state, has described the state as one of the vibrant state in the country due to unprecedented developments recorded in all facets of human endeavours.
This was made known on behalf of all members of the association in the state in a press statement jointly issued and made available to journalists in Osogbo, Osun state capital by the President, Sanitarian Dr. Tope Akinwumi and Secretary, Sanitarian Femi Ola, to felicitate with Governor Gboyega Oyetola, state cabinet members, state house of assembly members, traditional rulers and entire people of the state on the occasion of the creation of the state saying, Osun has triumphed within thirty years of its creation.
The President said, “whoever that gets to Osogbo the state capital today will definitely know that Governor Oyetola’s led administration has done a lot to transform the state, the gigantic flyover at Ola-Iya which is about to be completed is there for all to see.
” Mr Governor’s efforts on Environmental sanitation, agricultural development, free health care services, welfare programmes for the aged, empowerment programmes for both the artisans, youths, commercial okada rider, transporter among other cannot be over emphasised.
“It is not a matter of gainsaying, among the states that were created together with our state in 1991, Osun state has gone far by surpassing others in term of development”.
Sanitarian Akinwumi and Sanitarian Ola said further that, Mr Governor’s efforts in creating a good environment for the citizens of the state cannot be over emphasised saying he had done all necessary things to avert flood disaster in the state before and during the rainy season while his administration did not take the issue that has to do with health development with levity hand.
” We are glad to say that the state is progressing speedily in all ramifications among it’s equal in the country under Governor Oyetola’s led administration” the EHOAN concluded.
