Steve Harvey, television talk show host has been critisied by social media users after he said in a video that one needs to skip sleep if one needs to be wealthy.

In the video, Steve Harvey analyzed the sleep pattern of rich people which he says is quite different from that of others.

“Rich people don’t sleep eight hours a day. That’s a third of your life. It ain’t but 24 hours in a day, you can’t be sleep eight hours a day. You can’t live in L.A. and wake up at 8:00 in the morning. It’s 11:00 on the East Coast, the stock market been open two hours. They already making decisions about your life and yo a** was sleep. The Bible says, ‘he who loves to sleep and the folding of hands, poverty will set upon you like a thief in the night’”, he said.

However, his words didn’t sit well with many who say skipping sleep is dangerous to one’s health.
