Tambuwal, Northern Counterparts Decide On Ayu

In continuation of his efforts to ensure the unity and stability of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Gov Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state, who is also the Chairman of the party’s Governors Forum, has joined his counterparts from the Notothen states to decide on the unanimous declaration of Sen. Iyorchia Ayu as the new chairman of the party.

According to the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Sokoto state government, Muhammad Bello, this followed a unanimous decision reached during their brief meeting.
