42 Persons Burnt To Death By Bandits In Sokoto

Fourty two cumulative and confirmed persons in Sokoto were burnt to death by armed bandits in a bus on their to Abuja to seek for daily earnings.

The deceased were killed and burnt while those that tried to escape received their death warrant through spreading of petroleum on them and set fire on them that resulted to additional pains and then death. They included males, females and children.

Sokoto Command Police spokesman ASP Sanusi Abubakar confirmed that they were travelling along Sabon Birni-Isa going to Abuja to labour for what they could be able to obtain in order to feed their families.

Presently north eastern part of this country has now turned to be dominated by bandits where travelling and farming has become another thing as noone is certain to reach his intended destination neither certain to accumulate farm produce.
