A physically Challenged Aspirant Wins Assembly Ticket In Kogi

A physically challenged personality, aspiring to represent Ankpa 1 State Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aduku Emmanuel, has picked the ticket at the Primary Election of the Party.

The exercise which was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere at the Ankpa Governor’s Lodge, saw Comr. Aduku Emmanuel pull 22 votes ahead of Hon. Lawal Akus and Hon. John Aduga who had 3 and zero (0) votes respectively.

The people of the Constituency who could not hold their joy over his victory at the primary, mounted the streets in jubilation, singing and dancing to melodious victory songs.

Reacting to his emergence as the Party’s flag bearer for the 2023 general elections, Comr. Aduku Emmanuel dedicated the victory to God almighty, State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and the people of the Constituency.

Comr. Emmanuel appreciated Governor Bello for giving support to the children of nobody to climb the ladder of leadership and to showcase their inbuilt ability, describing the Governor as a God-sent.

He also commended the people of the Constituency for their show of love towards him, promising to live up to expectations in the discharge of his duties.

Comr. Aduku Emmanuel enjoined the people to sustain their support for him, adding that he will be running an all inclusive representation if given the opportunity at the general election.
