Accuse me of bribery face legal action says Oshiomhole

By Patience Egumba

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole has vowed to seek legal redress against anyone or media who makes unsubstantiated allegations against him forthwith.

Reacting to allegations of massive bribery during the last party primaries held across the nation, Oshiomhole said efforts aimed at tarnishing his image and reputation was uncalled for saying he should be commended for resisting criminal overtures to compromise him.

A statement issued by Oshiomhole’s Chief Press Secretary, Simon Ebegbulam said it was curious to note that some elements in the top hierarchy of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) appeared to be too eager to see the exit of the APC Chairman from office and maybe working in tandem With certain APC members.

He warned that no one will get away with any action that is capable of tarnishing his integrity that he built from the days of his Leadership of the labour movement.

The APC chairman made it clear that he was aware that part of the strategies discussed in Dubai where PDP recently held meeting was to continue to dish out lies against top APC leaders with a view to distract the leadership of APC ahead of 2019 general elections.
