Activist Condemn Attacks On Christians Procession In Kogi

The Executive Director, Conscience for Human Rights and Conflict Resolution, (CHRCR), Comrade Idris Miliki Abdul on Tuesday in Lokoja condemned the attack on Christian worshippers on prayer walk in Anyigba by suspected Armed Hoodlums.

He noted that the attack by suspected hoodlums on the prayer walk in Ayingba, Dekina local government Area of kogi state is regrettable.

The Director frowned that it’s a condemnable acts as Christians have the right to peaceful prayer walk as provided in the Nigeria constitution stressing, “I wonder why should people’s right to worship and citizens’ property be destroyed for no just cause”.

Comrade Abdul therefore called on the relevant authorities to investigate and bring perpetrators to book.

Meanwhile, the Director also appealed to the EndSARS protesters not to violate the right of the citizens they claim to be protecting through these unnecessary and avoidable violence spreading round the country.
