After 30 Years In Detention, Another Person Rescued By HRN In Kano.

Parents detention at home is becoming more rampant in Kano state where many parents resolved to chains their biological sons for quite a number of years without care of food, medication and other social amenities that made the residents to panic.

In a previous reports, Daybreak news reported that a human rights network in Kano popularly known as Human rights network (HRN) rescued a man who’s was detained by his father in for 7 years in his room where as at the time of filing this report, the man is still responding to medication with excellent results.

In a related development, the organisation rescued yet another man in Rogo local government area named Murtala Muhammed who was also chained for 30 years without being allowed to see the broad day light which is now becoming another subject of discussion across the state.

Speaking to our correspondent, the executive director of the organisation, Comrade A. A. Haruna Ayagi said that ” we successfully rescued another man who was detained by his father for 30 years and from the reports we got from the people close to the man’s family where we tried our best in the rescue operation”. He stated.

Comrade Ayagi added that Human rights network would continue to work seriously towards the peaceful co-existence in the society, and in collaboration with all the security agents which is a task that should be given more consideration in order to ensure the success of the organisation’s operations.

Daybreak news have a chats with some residents about the current spate of chainings where they accused the parents with maltreatments from the side of the parents, where they called on the judiciary to ensure that whoever found guilty in detaining offence must be prosecuted without option f fine.

They commended the Human rights network for working selflessly towards the promotion of peace and protecting the human rights in every sector, and called on HRN to double efforts to rescue operations.
