After Acquisition by Elon Musk, Twitter Market Share Increases by 55%,  Facebook’s Declines by 12%,

Twitter, a major social media platform, has recently seen a progressive rise in its market share, with Elon Musk’s purchase of the business acting as a key driver. While Twitter is expanding, Meta Platform’s Facebook is seeing a decline in share.

Specifically, information gathered and assessed by Finbold on November 8 shows that Twitter’s market share will increase by 55.86% in 2022. On the other side, between January and November 2022, Facebook’s share fell by 11.86%. In terms of market share, both desktop and mobile devices are taken into account globally.

According to a breakdown of market share, Facebook started the year with 76.85%, the platform’s greatest percentage through 2022, while the value stood at 67.73% in November. In other words, Twitter’s market share increased from 7.16% in January to 11.16% in November.

For Twitter and Facebook to sustain their market share, the companies will need to focus more on attracting users while keeping an eye on the growing competition.
