The Accountant General of Nasarawa State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Musa Mohammed Ahmed (Baraden Nasarawa), has commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for receiving international recognition at the 10th Africa Leadership Magazine (ALM) Summit held in London, United Kingdom.

Governor Sule, who delivered a keynote address at the high-level summit, was honored for his outstanding leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment to public service—particularly in promoting transparency, good governance, and economic growth in Nasarawa State.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Dr. Ahmed described the recognition as a “true testament” to the governor’s vision and achievements.

“The recognition Governor Sule received is not surprising,” Dr. Ahmed said. “His administration is built on the pillars of vision, transparency, and a genuine desire to transform Nasarawa into a hub of economic opportunity—and the global community is clearly taking note.”

The ALM Summit, which convened African leaders, top policymakers, and development partners, focused on solutions to Africa’s development challenges and the importance of transformational leadership on the continent.

Dr. Ahmed highlighted Governor Sule’s reforms in areas such as investment promotion, solid minerals development, and financial management, which have significantly enhanced transparency and accountability in the state.

“Governor Sule has restored public trust in governance and demonstrated that with the right leadership, a state like Nasarawa can become a model of sustainable development,” he said.

He added that Nasarawa’s active participation in international forums such as the ALM Summit reflects the state’s readiness to align with global standards in governance and economic policy.

The two-day summit continues in London, with leaders exchanging ideas on advancing Africa’s development agenda through innovation, strategic partnerships, and visionary governance.
