The traditional ruler of Agoro Community, HRH Mark Deinkoru Ekiyou (Ogbotoro VI), has congratulated Deputy Governor Dr. Peter Pereotubo Akpe on his recent appointment and 55th birthday
.In a statement on Tuesday, the monarch, representing the Council of Chiefs, community leaders, women, youth, and elders, described Dr. Akpe’s appointment as “well-deserved” and commended Governor Douye Diri for selecting a leader of proven integrity and character.
HRH Ekiyou prayed for the Deputy Governor’s continued health and longevity, expressing confidence that the Diri-Akpe administration would deliver more roads, electricity, and other infrastructure across the state.He also appealed for the revival of the Bulou-Orua overside to Agoro road project, which was first awarded in 1986 but has been repeatedly abandoned by contractors over the past four decades.
“The people of Agoro are optimistic that Governor Diri’s promise during his re-election campaign visit remains achievable,” the monarch said. HRH Ekiyou concluded by pledging the community’s continued loyalty and support to the state leadership.
