All Boarding schools In The State Advised To Resume Studies, Sunday

All boarding Schools in Sokoto are instructed to resume studies on Sunday, 21st April, 2024 for the Third term Academic Session.

Similarly, public and private schools are to resume for their third term Academic activities on Monday, 22nd April, 2024.

Parents/Guardians, School Based Management Committee and Parent Teachers Association are implored to ensure the immediate resumption of their wards to school.
Teachers have been directed to commence Academic activities as from the day of resumption and that Inspectors from the ministry will go round the Schools to monitor compliance.

Information Officer of the Ministry, Ibrahim Muhammad Iya also said the Commissioner Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Muhammad Tukur Alkali has directed that all Heads of Parastatals and Agencies under the Ministry to monitor the resumption.
Hon Mohammad Tukur Alkali thanked all the Stake holders in Basic and Secondary Education for their contribution to the success of the last term and asked them to sustain the tempo.
