Amnesty boss hails Pa Clark at 94

Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Colonel Milland Dixon Dikio has hailed Ijaw leader, Pa E.K Clark as he turns 94.

In a statement personally signed by Dikio and made available to Daybreak News, the Amnesty boss, described Clark as one of the rare gifts to people of the Niger Delta region and humanity in general.

He said Clark’s passion for the development of the region is unparalleled and his years of constructive agitation for a better deal for the people, marks him out as a true and committed patriot.

According to Dikio, Pa Clark’s philanthropy and his love for education which made him set up a special foundation and established the Edwin Clark University, Kiagbido, is a testament of his firm believe in using education and intellectualism as the new tool to push the cause of his people.

While wishing the elderstatesman and nationalist a happy 94th birthday, he prayed God to continue to keep him alive, for him to continue to use his experience and wealth of sound knowledge to the benefit of the Niger Delta and the Nigerian state.
