Anambra Police Commissioner Warns Candidates Against Exam Malpractice in Recruitment Process

CP Aderemi Adeoye, the Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, has issued a stern warning to candidates participating in the Police Recruitment Computer-Based Test (CBT), cautioning them against engaging in any form of examination malpractice. Adeoye emphasized that individuals caught engaging in such malpractices would face arrest, investigation, and prosecution.

Furthermore, Adeoye has directed heightened security surveillance at designated test centers in the state to prevent any potential disturbances or unexpected incidents during the recruitment process.

In a press statement released by DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, the state police spokesperson, it was disclosed that the scheduled CBT for qualified general duty candidates is slated to take place between March 5 and 6, 2024.

The statement outlined the designated test centers and advised candidates to bring their CBT slips and other necessary documents as required during the online application process. Candidates were also urged to verify their status, centers, date, and time for the CBT through the recruitment portal.

Adeoye reiterated that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and emphasized the importance of candidates adhering to good conduct. Any candidate found involved in exam malpractice would face legal consequences.

The statement also provided contact numbers for reporting any perceived improper practices during the exercise and specified the dress code for candidates.

With this proactive approach, the Anambra State Police Command aims to ensure a transparent and fair recruitment process while maintaining the integrity of the examination system.
