Annie Idibia Breaks Silence After Viral Video of 2Baba’s Alleged UK Arrest

Actress Annie Idibia has shared a series of cryptic posts on social media just hours after a viral video surfaced online alleging that her ex-husband, legendary musician Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, was arrested in the United Kingdom.

The footage, which quickly spread across multiple platforms, appears to show the singer interacting with UK law enforcement officers before being handcuffed and led away.

Viral Clips Spark Confusion

The controversy began after popular blogger Tosin Silverdam shared a TikTok video showing 2Baba outside what looked like a retail store. In the clip, the music star is seen speaking with police officers moments before the situation escalates and he is escorted away.

The alleged arrest video surfaced shortly after another dramatic clip went viral, showing Natasha Osawaru—believed to be 2Baba’s new wife—shouting at him during a heated argument inside a London shop.

Annie Shares Cryptic Reflections

Amid the growing social media frenzy, Annie Idibia took to her Instagram Stories to share a series of reflective messages. Though she did not mention any names, many fans quickly linked the timing of her posts to the unfolding controversy surrounding her ex-husband.

Her posts read:
“Sometimes trying to prove you are the best is an insult.”
“Wouldn’t it be easier if you left your past behind.”
“The power of stepping away.”

The timing and tone of Annie’s messages have since fueled widespread speculation about her reaction to the recent developments involving the music icon.
