A House of Representatives aspirant for Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, Hon. Pharm. John Ezekiel Chun, has continued consultations with party stakeholders ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries, visiting Zabot Federal Ward in Plateau State.
Chun, accompanied by political associates and local leaders, met with party members to seek support for his bid. He thanked supporters for their reception and called for unity among stakeholders across the constituency. “Foron is one, and the time has come for us to work together for collective progress,” he said.
The aspirant formally declared his intention to contest the seat, citing his experience as former Chief of Staff to ex-Senate Minority Leader Simon Mwadkwon and as Liaison Officer for National Assembly Affairs in Abuja. He pledged inclusive representation and people-focused legislative initiatives if elected.Local APC stakeholders and elders, in separate remarks, expressed support for Chun and encouraged him to remain committed to grassroots development.
As part of his visit, Chun also paid a courtesy call on the Gwom Rwey Foron, HRH Da David Bunah Dashong, seeking traditional blessings for his aspiration. He highlighted the role of traditional institutions in promoting peace and community development.The visit forms part of Chun’s ongoing consultations across Barkin Ladi and Riyom local government areas ahead of the party primaries.
