BBNaija: Nigerians defend Thelma after Tacha’s fans mocked her for having only one white shoe

Following the unending fight between BBNaija housemates, Tacha and Thelma, lots of Nigerians have intervened and defended Thelma after Tacha’s fans ‘Titans’ mocked Thelma after they discovered she has only one white shoe.

Recall that Thelma continued to drag fellow housemate, Natacha Ibinabo Slide over the fish fight they had while in the house.

According to Titans, Thelma does not only need the fish Tacha refused to give her in Big Brother’s house, she also needs shoes because she has been wearing only one white shoe. Nigerians who think it does not make sense to mock Thelma over her white pair of shoes have reacted to this.

    See some comments below;

@Vivian01571071 wrote “@metronaija wrote “That’s to tell you that she didn’t borrow it….allow her to enjoy her white shoes in peace.”

@MrJaybii wrote “I prefer to wear one shoe for 10 years without body odor.”

@megoseghale wrote “She is wearing only one white shoe meaning? That’s tells you all that it her shoe and not some borrowpose people. How about Tacha that was wearing a particular dress in BBN house to an extend that Jaruma was begging to bring dress for her why are Tacha fans behaving like her???”

@LuvXta wrote “Na wa ooooo those it matter if one chooses to wear her own shoe, it hers biko u see this people you guys are fighting over like this ehen they’re all frds and making money together, all this noise is publicity saga”

@oyebolaoyelami wrote “Seriously, it none of anybody’s goddamn business even if she decides to where just one cloth her entire life.. Sigh”

@wakajugbe wrote “she didn’t steal it… It’s her shoes and she’s proudly rocking it… Petty fan base”

Naira Marley: FG suspends aviation company that flew singer to Abuja for concert

The Federal Government has suspended ExecuJet services, the aviation company that owns the private jet used to fly Naira Marley from Lagos to Abuja for his drive-in concert on Saturday, June 13.

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, who announced this at the daily briefing of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 today June 15, said the aviation company violated the Federal government’s approval.

According to him, an approval was given to the company to fly Justice Adefope Okoji from Lagos to Abuja and back to Lagos on an official assignment. However, they used the approval to fly in NairaMarley.

Well, we approved a flight but certainly not for any musician. The flight, from the application, was to convey Honourable Justice Adefope Okojie from Lagos to Abuja and back to Lagos for an official assignment.
“In this challenging time, in our wisdom, we considered the judiciary to be part of the essential service to be delivered. Having to move the Hon. Justice from Lagos to Abuja was in order. The approval was given for the 14th of June, 2020, however, we do give them a leeway of 24 hours sometimes due to operational reasons.

They can operate the flight slightly earlier or slightly forward within 24 hours. In this case, the operator choose to fly on the 13th at about 6:00 pm. So, that itself is not a violation to operate earlier because we gave him the leeway.

The operator is Executive Jets Services and the approval was very clear and I will read part of it. This is the letter from the ministry of Aviation to the Chairman of the Executive Jets Services and it was signed by the Director of Air Transport Management on my behalf.”

Announcing the sanctions on the company, Sirika said

“The operation is a clear violation of our approvals which we take seriously, it seems this is becoming a norm, it’s the second time.

Execujet services are hereby suspended indefinitely. We’ll also fine them maximally according to the law. The captain of the flight will be sanctioned for giving wrong information to the control tower”.

On Sunday, June 14, the Federal Capital Territory Administration sealed off Jabi Lake Mall on Sunday for two weeks over Naira Marley’s concert which violated the government’s ban on public gathering.

See some reactions to the letter below…

“If you can call Naira Marley and Kim Oprah bunch of useless people then your part of the problems we have in Nigeria.

Nigeria is the extreme poverty capital of the world today because our politicians are bunch of useless people.

It’s our politicians who are all useless.”

“Why is this same Naira Marley sooooo troublesome. Can’t he just obey the rules for once and stay at one place till all this is over?”

“I read that ‘bunch of useless people’ in his voice. You could imagine the anger he used in writing this. “

The flight company was banned for breaking the inter state travel ban by the COVID 19 task force.

Actress Kate Henshaw calls out critics of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo over wife’s death

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has reacted to the criticism of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo hours after his wife, Ibidun Ighodalo died of a heart attack.

Shortly after Ibidun died, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House Church found time to attend the burial ceremony held by another family.

At the event, he said, “At 2 am this morning, I received a call that shattered my entire life.

“We do not have control over most things in life, how you were born, which womb you came from and your race.

“Life is a deep mystery no one even as wise as Solomon can tell you they understand life.

“There is going to come a time when we will see clearly as Jesus sees.”

Twitter users criticized the clergyman who they say ought to be mourning his wife instead of what he did.

Reacting to the criticism, Kate Henshaw said: “You cannot tell someone how they can mourn their loved ones.
Leave Pastor Ituah alone. He keeps his word always and if anything he is a strong example of deep faith and courage in God!
All you and your stereotype mourning that reeks to the Heavens!”.

Candace Owens replies Dave Chapel, challenges him to call her a rotten b*tch to her face

Candace Owens has responded to an attack from comedian Dave Chapel over her comment on George Floyd.

She had criticized the black community for trying to make George Floyd into a martyr which she says he’s not because of his criminal records.

Angered by her words, Dave Chapel slammed her saying:

“Candace Owens, that rotten b***h, she’s the worst. I can’t think of a worse way to make money. She’s the most articulate idiot I’ve ever seen in my f*****g life. I seen Candace Owens try to convince white America, ‘Don’t worry about it. He’s a criminal anyway.’ I don’t give a f**k what this n***a did. I don’t care what this n***a did. I don’t care if he personally kicked Candace Owens in her stanky p***y. I don’t know if it stanks, but I imagine it does. If I ever find out, I’ll let you know for sure. I’ll tell like Azealia Banks. I’ll tell.”

In response, Candace Owens told the comedian to say the same words to her face when they meet.

“We’ve arrived too suddenly into a culture where people can’t laugh at themselves, or want to restrain comedians. I will never be a part of that culture. Dave Chappelle—you are legend and I’d love to meet you and challenge you to say any of that to my face! All love!”
