By  Milcah   Tanimu

Nigerian international superstar Ayra Starr continues her rapid ascent to global fame with a heartwarming performance alongside Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin.

Ayra Starr, known for her captivating vocals and charming personality, has been a significant force in bringing Nigerian music to a global audience. Her growing international presence was further solidified when she teamed up with Chris Martin for a memorable rendition of her single, ‘Last Heartbreak Song,’ featuring Giveon.

In this enchanting duet, Chris Martin played the piano and sang Giveon’s parts, while Ayra Starr delivered a stunning acapella performance. The song is a highlight from her recently released sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21,’ which has garnered widespread acclaim for showcasing her artistry and global ambitions.

This collaboration with Chris Martin is part of a broader trend for Ayra Starr, who has quickly become a prominent figure in the international music scene. Their performance comes on the heels of Coldplay teasing an unreleased single, ‘Good Feeling,’ featuring Ayra Starr. This collaboration makes her the fourth woman to be featured by Coldplay, following in the footsteps of Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Selena Gomez.

‘Good Feeling’ is set to be included in Coldplay’s upcoming tenth studio album, ‘Moon Music,’ scheduled for release on October 4. The album will also feature British rapper Little Simz and Nigerian superstar Burna Boy, the latter of whom Coldplay premiered at their recent Glastonbury headline performance.

Ayra Starr’s upcoming collaboration with Coldplay further cements her status as one of the fastest-rising stars on the global stage, poised to become a true international superstar.
