Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has disbursed a cash gift of $100 each to about 2,682 intending Muslim pilgrims.
The governor said this while delivering a farewell message to the intending pilgrims at the Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar Hajj Camp, Bauchi. He also warned them to be worthy ambassadors of the state in particular and the country in general while in the Holy Land, urging them
to pray for peace and prosperity in the country and Bauchi State in particular.
Governor Mohammed said that the government has also made all necessary arrangements for the state pilgrims contingent to Saudi Arabia to be led by the state Amirul-Hajj who is also the
Emir of Dass, Usman Bilyaminu.
He added that the government has made adequate arrangements in Saudi Arabia to make the pilgrims perform their religious obligation without any hindrance and reminded them to be
grateful to Allah that has given them the opportunity of being among the pilgrims
