Bauchi State Speaker Sacked by Appeal Court; Rerun Ordered in Ningi Central Constituency

In a significant development, the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, has rendered a judgment on Friday that resulted in the removal of Abubakar Suleiman, the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, from his position as the representative for Ningi Central Constituency in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

The appellate court’s decision includes a directive for a rerun election to take place in 10 polling units within the affected constituency.
