Commissioner of Police (CP), Bayelsa State, CP Mike Okoli fs , has ordered full investigation into the circumstances that led to the death of Temple George, a popular baker in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
This is contained in a statement issued by SP Asinim Butswat, the spokesman of the command and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Bayelsa.
The police image maker said, Investigation reveals that the body of the deceased was discovered by his Landlord on 17 April, 2021, at his apartment at Opolo, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
He stated that, Scene was visited by Police detectives, and the corpse was removed to the Federal Medical Centre Mortuary for autopsy.
According to the statement, the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for proper Investigation .
The statement said that the CP commiserates with the family of the deceased, adding that the police boss assured residents of Yenagoa of the determination of the command to fish out the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
It enjoined the residents and members of the public to remain calm and cooperate with the Police in the ongoing investigation.
