BBNaija’s Erica Expresses Frustration After Business Class Ticket Downgrade

By  Milcah   Tanimu

Big Brother Naija star Erica Nlewedim took to Instagram to vent her frustration after her business class ticket was downgraded to economy without her knowledge. The incident occurred late on July 16, 2024, and involved an airport staff member from British Airways named Stanley.

Erica, visibly upset, went on Instagram Live to share the ordeal with her followers. She clarified that she was not late for her flight and had paid for a business class ticket. “I paid for business class and they are trying to downgrade me to economy and I didn’t come late,” she stated.

During the livestream, Erica recounted previous interactions with the airport staff, claiming they called a uniformed person on her and accused her of recording. “I wasn’t recording; I was on my own and then you called a uniformed person on me and said I was recording,” she said. “Now that I’m recording, even if you guys want to do anything to me, if you want to shoot me, everybody can see what you’re doing.”

Surrounded by airport staff and men in uniform trying to calm her down, Erica emphasized that her thousands of followers were witnessing the incident live. “You have not seen the mad side of me in four years and now it’s out. I’ve been nice since and the niceness isn’t getting me anywhere but now I have to be nasty,” she declared.

Standing her ground, Erica demanded that her ticket be reverted to business class, the service she had initially paid for. “Don’t bring problems my way and I won’t bring problems your way,” she asserted. “I came here all nice and you told me that you wanted to put me on economy. What the fuck? Did you all not collect the money? Give me what I paid for.”

The incident has garnered significant attention, with many fans supporting Erica’s demand for fair treatment.
