BBNaija’s Kess Denies Romantic Allegations, Calls Wife Insecure

By Daniel Edu

Kess, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija’s ‘Level Up’ edition, has refuted allegations of being romantically involved with fellow contestant Christy O. The controversy arose when Kess’s Caucasian wife, Angel, shared what she claimed were screenshots of conversations between Kess and Christy O discussing sexual matters. Angel further alleged that Kess and Christy O were planning to share rent in Lagos but that their friendship had taken a different direction.

In response to these allegations, Kess took to social media in a video to deny any romantic involvement with Christy O. He instead accused his wife of being highly insecure and described her as having displayed such behavior since the beginning of their marriage. Kess insisted that he has been committed to making their marriage work, despite his wife’s repeated accusations of infidelity and her suspicion of any female presence around him.

Expressing his concern over the severity of the allegations made by his wife, Kess emphasized that such baseless accusations could harm his reputation and that of his female colleague.

Speaking in a recent interview with Channels TV, the veteran Nollywood actor disclosed that fraudsters and drug dealers had invited him to join their illicit activities.

Okey Bakassi went on to explain that individuals in the entertainment industry are often targeted by drug dealers due to their accessibility and visibility. Despite acknowledging the financial allure of the drug trade, he firmly declined these offers and opted to maintain a simpler, more ethical path in his career.
