Benue Governor-Elect Inaugurates Transition Subcommittees

Benue State Governor-Elect, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia has inaugurated transition subcommittees to ensure a seamless transition from the outgoing Government to the incoming administration come 29th May.

Performing the ceremony in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, Rev Fr Alia charged members of the subcommittees to provide good direction on how activities would be effectively carried on the inauguration day.

The Benue Governor-Elect who sued for synergy and cooperation among the inauguration team, contended that they were appointed to serve in trust, even as he Implored them to be transparent in the course of their assignment.

The Clergy prayed God to bless members of the inauguration team with the wisdom to discharge their assignment transparently. He admonished them to be mindful of time.

Earlier while presenting members of the team to the Benue Governor-Elect, the Deputy Governor-Elect, Barr Sam Ode averred that members of the committees comprised of eminent members of All Progressives Congress as well as non members.

Also speaking, the Chairman, APC transition committee, Mr Mike Iordye explained that the subcommittees was a continuation of the transition program.
