Beware of Impostors: NBBF Warns Nigerians

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), under the leadership of Mr.Igoche Mark wish to inform the general public to be wary of claims by some impostors; masquerading under the guise of running the affairs of the country’s basketball.

This disclaimer becomes necessary following the recent approach of these individuals style of issuing worthless, baseless and provocative statements, this they do in conjunction with some individuals in the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.

The falsehood being peddled, and names dropping are signs of desperation to continue their atrocities against the game;with no concrete impactful plans for the future of the basketball.

The Honourable Minister of Sports,Mr.Sunday Dare  had emphatically stated that there were 2 elections. When was the party at Benin City the chosen one?

Has the Sports Ministry sold it’s birthright to some individuals who have held down the game for ages?

Which Constitution is now being used as at today?

These are questions that need answers.

Also, the taciturn approach of the sports minister in this lock jam is questionable, an action that has emboldened a certain director in the sports  ministry to be in bed with these impostors.

Our resolve is to ensure that these individuals who have been fleecing on our game since 1997 are booted out from this system.

The Igoche Mark led NBBF has decided to get down to work with its planned Basketball Programs.
