Bishop Adegbite says Nigeria under going a season of unending grace

The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite has said that God would deliver Nigeria from all its challenges, stating that we are in the season of unending grace.

Bishop Adegbite said this on Friday Friday when the Coordinator and executives of the Inter-denominational Christian Fellowship, office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), who paid him a courtesy visit at NCPC corporate headquarters, Abuja.
He emphasized that Nigeria is presently experiencing a season of grace, as it is not a coincidence that while the Christians are observing their lent, the Muslims have also commenced their Ramadan fast.

He therefore emphasized that the season is a period for penitence, sober reflection, humility, sacrifice and love for one another.

The NCPC boss maintained that by the end of the fasting period, Nigeria would experience upliftment in all facets of the economy.

Bishop Adegbite used the opportunity to thank Mr. President and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation for finding him worthy and deserving of his appointment.

He thanked the Coordinator and the Executives of the Inter-denominational Christian Fellowship for the good work they are doing by propagating the gospel of God at OSGF.

Furthermore , the Bishop affirmed that it is a new dawn in NCPC and there must be a change in attitude, a change in operation and in all ramifications.

He stated that NCPC is an extension of the OSGF and thus pledged to identify with them.

His said , “We are part of OSGF, I will be part of your programmes.”

Earlier, the Coordinator of the Inter-denominational Christian Fellowship, OSGF Evangelist Ezeakachi Umunnah congratulated the Executive Secretary for his well-deserved appointment and commended Mr. President for considering him for the exalted position.

He briefed his host about the activities of the Chapel in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

He said the chapel has given them the opportunity to raise vessels unto the Lord.

The Coordinator intimated that the chapel is used as a platform to pray for all the leaders in authority as demanded by God. He solicited for support from the Commission in whatever form.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of the 2024 chapel calendar to the Executive Secretary.
