Brain Jotter Meets Legendary Singer Mike Ejeagha After Viral Song Success

By Milcah Tanimu

Nigerian skit maker Brain Jotter recently met with legendary highlife singer Mike ‘Gentleman’ Ejeagha, whose song “Ka Esi Le Onye Isi Oche” has gained widespread popularity. The song, particularly the chorus “Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo,” became viral after Brain Jotter used it as the soundtrack for his dance moves in a viral video.

In the dance, participants face opposite directions, walk towards each other, perform a funny leg dance, and then chase each other to the chorus. Brain Jotter’s first Instagram clip of this dance, shared on July 5, garnered nearly one million likes by July 21. On TikTok, the trend saw massive views and over a thousand recreations, with many Nigerians, including celebrities, joining in.

On Sunday, Brain Jotter expressed his desire to meet Mike Ejeagha. By Monday, he shared a photo on Instagram with the highlife legend, expressing his joy over the meeting and hinting at a forthcoming story. He captioned the photo, where he is seated beside Mike Ejeagha with his hand across his shoulder, “So happy I did this. Story coming soon.”

The meeting has received a warm reception, with many people grateful to Brain Jotter for the kind gesture.
