Breaking: Bandits kidnapped scores in Kaduna state polytechnic, Zaria

Rampaging activities of bandits have continue to take toll on innocent people as scores, suspected to be students of Nuhu Bamali State Polytechnic, have been reportedly kidnapped  in Zaria in kaduna State. Kaduna police command is yet to respond when contacted for clarification through the command spokesman Muhammad jalige.

Eyewitness statement however revealed that Director of State Security Service (DSS) kaduna State, Alhaji ibrahim Idris Joji, who confirmed the information said the incident occurred yesterday at about 2200hour at the school premises. DSS, according to the statement, said ,investigations has since commenced to rescue the victims and therefore advised the school community to remain calm. 
The statement posted on kaduna journalists chat forum on Sunday morning read in parts: “Armed bandits have kidnapped unidentified number of people at Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic.               
“Confirming the incident the kaduna state director of state security service Alhaji ibrahim Idris Joji said the incident occurred yesterday at about 2200hour at the school premises.                     
“He said investigations has since commence to rescue the victims. He advised the school community to remain calm”, it stressed, quoting” Alhaji Ibrahim idris joyi state director of state security service.
Recalled that five daughters of Pastor Istifanus Tiswam of Christ embassy church Kaduna and two others were last week reportedly kidnapped by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen militia, by southern Kaduna people’s Union, SOKAPU.
