BREAKING: Court orders release of 313 suspected terrorists

In a significant development, a Federal High Court in Borno has issued an order for the release of over 313 individuals suspected of terrorism, who were apprehended by the military.

The court’s decision to release the suspects was based on the lack of substantial evidence to prosecute them after a thorough investigation.

Major General Buba Edward, the Director of Defence Media Operations, revealed this crucial information during a briefing session held on Thursday in Abuja.

He stated, “Following the conclusion of investigations and related matters, the court has ruled for the release of these individuals due to insufficient evidence.”

Subsequently, the suspects will be handed over to the Borno State Government for further necessary action.
