Subsequently, around 10:20 am, the ex-minister shared on Twitter that she had voluntarily presented herself at the EFCC headquarters to respond to the anti-graft agency’s invitation and provide clarifications on pertinent issues.

It’s worth noting that, citing health challenges, the former minister had previously officially requested an extension for her meeting with EFCC interrogators. The investigation revolves around the alleged money laundering through the aforementioned contractor during her tenure in office.
