BREAKING: Fourth Mainland Bridge construction begins first quarter 2024 — Sanwo-Olu

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has declared that the construction of the highly anticipated Fourth Mainland Bridge is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2024, specifically by the end of March or April. Speaking at the Lagos West Senatorial District Town Hall Meeting, the governor assured phased construction of the bridge and emphasized that proper compensation would be provided to landlords and tenants affected by the demolition of structures during the project. Sanwo-Olu acknowledged the need for innovative financing and expressed the commitment to breaking ground within the specified timeframe.
