by Daniel Edu

In a thrilling finale, Ilebaye Odiniya has emerged as the champion of the All-Stars edition of Big Brother Naija. She outshone the other top five finalists during the Sunday night grand finale.

Ilebaye’s victory comes with a grand prize of N120,000,000, in addition to other exciting prizes. Mercy Eke, a previous winner of the show, secured the runner-up position in this highly competitive season.

The All-Stars edition of BBNaija lasted for an intense 70 days, filled with unexpected twists and intrigues. The finalists included Mercy, CeeC, Cross, Adekunle, Ilebaye, and Pere, chosen from a total of 21 housemates, with an additional five introduced midway into the season.

Earlier this year, the “Big Brother Titans” edition featured both Nigerian and South African housemates, with South African contestant Khosi emerging as the winner and taking home $100,000. Nigerian contestant Kanaga Jnr claimed the first runner-up position.

This season introduced a new game called ‘The Black Envelope game’ and offered 30 lucky fans the chance to win N1 million each. It also brought back the ever-mysterious ninjas and featured the traditional weekly wagers, Head of House Challenges lasting four hours, Arena Games, and various sponsored tasks.

Among the past housemates who made it to the All Stars edition were Pere, CeeC, Alex, Kiddwaya, Mercy, Tbaj, Angel, Neo, Alex, Cross, Seyi, Whitemoney, Uriel, Doyin, Princess, Soma, Ike, Adekunle, Venita, and Ilebaye.

Notably, some popular ex-housemates and fan favorites, such as Tacha, Laycon, Dorathy Bachor, Dianne Russet, Tobi Bakre, and others, were not selected for the All Stars edition, leaving fans eagerly awaiting their future appearances in the BBNaija universe.
